Come and join Auckland’s longest established arboricultural contractor.
 
We are a family owned business and have been servicing the greater Auckland area since 1976. We currently employ around 30 staff and operate out of our yard, centrally located in St Johns, Auckland.
 
Our staff’s wellbeing and safety is paramount at Tree Fellas. We make sure our staff are well trained and kitted out with the best PPE and machinery available including 12 and 15 inch winch assisted chippers, Stihl gear and GRCS rigging kits etc. We also have trade accounts with Tree Tool’s, Standens and Levin Saw makers with a buy now / pay back system for those climbers that travel light or must have it all!
 
We start at 7:30am and go until approximately 4pm, Monday to Friday. Saturday’s at time and a half is an option as well.
 
A positive work culture is also very important to us. Once a week we provide a cooked breakfast with our weekly safety briefing and on Friday afternoon’s everyone gets a cooked “feed”.

Applicants should have a strong work ethic, be reliable, have a high level of fitness, be enthusiastic and work well in a team environment.

We are currently looking for climbing arborists with New Zealand qualifications from level 3 and upwards or equivalent from overseas. A driver’s license including class 2 is preferred but not essential. Drivers licensing and training can be provided to you at no cost to the applicant including converting your overseas license to a New Zealand one.
